Slate Roof Inspection & 3D Documentation
Drone photogrammetry turned a historic building into a centimeter-accurate 3D model, so the slate condition audit ran off real geometry instead of a walkthrough.
Memorial Hall — High-Accuracy 3D Drone Scan & Digital Twin
A four-hour aerial survey. Nearly 20,000 photographs. A measurable 3D model of the building—accurate to within centimeters.
Memorial Hall needed more than photos. The team needed a living record of the structure: every elevation, every defect, every surface they would have to budget, repair, or defend later. We flew a coordinated drone photogrammetry mission, processed the imagery into a survey-grade 3D model, and delivered data the owner could actually use.
What we captured
~4 hours of controlled flight time
Nearly 20,000 overlapping photos
Full exterior coverage processed with photogrammetry
Building evaluation accurate to within centimeters
What the model unlocked Together with the customer, we used the digital twin to:
Document the building’s current condition in a single, shareable source of truth
Mark defects and areas of concern with measurable locations
Plan repair scopes and capital budgets against real geometry, not estimates
Archive accurate data so future decisions are based on the building as it is—not as someone remembered it
When a historic or high-value building needs work, guesswork is expensive. This scan replaced walkthrough notes and scattered photos with a centimeter-accurate model the owner can revisit, measure, and hand to contractors.
Need the same record for your building? We document structures with drone photogrammetry so owners, engineers, and facility teams can inspect, budget, and plan with confidence.
