My Story

Matt Greco is the founder of Carolina SkyForge, a North Carolina-based drone services company dedicated to delivering precise, actionable aerial insights for the construction industry and beyond.

With over 12 years of hands-on experience flying drones, Matt launched Carolina DroneForge to address a critical need he saw firsthand: helping construction professionals efficiently track project progress, monitor site conditions, and make data-driven decisions. Drawing from his deep roots in both public safety and construction, Matt brings a unique perspective to every mission.

A dedicated local firefighter for more than 16 years, Matt has developed a strong commitment to safety, quick decision-making, and serving the community under pressure. For the past 13 years, he has worked in commercial roofing, giving him intimate knowledge of construction workflows, site challenges, and the importance of accurate documentation and progress monitoring.

As a **FAA-registered Part 107 pilot**, Matt operates with full regulatory compliance and the highest standards of professionalism. At Carolina DroneForge, he leverages advanced DJI thermal imaging drones to provide specialized services, including not only construction site mapping and inspection but also search and recovery support—helping locate missing pets and livestock when every moment counts.

Passionate about combining cutting-edge drone technology with real-world experience, Matt founded Carolina DroneForge to bring reliable, high-value aerial solutions to construction teams, property owners, and communities across the region. Whether it's documenting a large-scale build or aiding in a time-sensitive search, his goal is simple: deliver clear, impactful results that make a difference.
